Fall is a great time to plant your garden!

Despite what most people think about spring being the best time to plant fall is actually the best time to plant trees, shrubs, and perennials. Planting these now allows the plants to develop a stronger root system during the winter months. This root system makes the plants stronger and healthier for the following year.

There are many great flowering plants that you can plant in your garden for fall and winter colour. You can plant Annuals like Pansies and Mums, Bulbs like Crocus, Daffodils, and Tulips, Perennials like Echinacea and Rudbeckia, Shrubs like Callicarpa or Holly, and Trees like Flowering Cherries or Maples. Be sure to stop by and see the variety of plants that you can add to your garden this fall.
